B&M Products Co., Ltd. was established in 1980 as a manufacturer of canned tuna in various styles and can sizes. We export our products to markets worldwide, under customers' own brands or under our own B&M brand in regional markets. Our products are marketed in the Asia Pacific region, including Japan and the USA, and in Europe. Currently, we generate sales of around US$12.5 million. In 1995, we added pouch tuna to our product range, becoming the pioneer of this type of product in Thailand. In the year 2000 we developed retail size tuna in various sizes of packaging and display material. Currently, we employ around 500 staff, including 12 engineers and 26 personnel devoted full time to quality assurance functions. All staff are given in-house training and many are also trained externally, especially QC personnel in respective production departments. We have laboratory facilities in our factory capable of performing chemical and microbiological analyses and we receive regular inspections by the Thai Department of Fisheries, Efsis and Senasa. Our facility has been officially approved for HACCP by DFO, from the EU and has been declared dolphin safe by Earth Island. In the long term we aim to add pouch tuna pet food to our product line to serve growing demand for this type of product internationally.
